A drive to achieve and a will to improve

Hi, I’m Sarah. I love to solve problems through research and creative thinking. I design to have an impact on people’s everyday lives and help businesses achieve their goals. I believe there is always room for improvement, to me balance is key in life and in design.

I have an accomplished background in the hospitality industry and have found many parallels with my professional experience and UX Design. I have been using quantitative and qualitative data, testing and iteration to design beverage programs for years, and now I get to translate those skills into delighting people within a digital space!

Originally from Oregon, currently living in Denver by way of Miami, I miss the ocean but enjoy the mountains. I am adventurer at heart but also love curling up with a book, visiting new restaurants and watching bad TV.

Thank you for stopping by.

I really enjoyed having Sarah as a student in the UX Design Immersive. In addition to showing tremendous growth in class, Sarah brings a lot of pre-existing talents to her UX career. She’s very poised in front of a room. She’s strongly self-directed and able to manage others. She conducts herself professionally. I believe Sarah will be a great asset to someone’s UX practice.
— Beth Koloski Research, Design Thinking, UX Educator
Sarah is a leader who was fantastic to work with because she was able to translate the UX process into manageable tasks for the team I worked with her on. Her focus on punctuality and best practices enabled our group to design a cohesive prototype in under two weeks. She is hard-working and dependable and went above and beyond with user research and usability testing. Based on my time working with her, I observed how extensive her knowledge of human-centered design is and how effectively she applied it to each stage of research and design. I feel lucky to have worked on a project with a go-getter like Sarah. She truly was an asset to me and my team!
— Michael Redkey UX/UI Designer
As the UX Project Manager on the Craftsy Tutorial Creator feature addition for the native iPad app, Sarah demonstrated a warm and naturally authoritative leadership ability with compassion for the team, as well as the users. She makes you want to be your best self. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her on the project and I look forward to working with her again in the future.
